Vacancy Status (ESA s. 8.5): This is a speculative posting for talent pooling purposes to identify candidates for future opportunities; a specific vacancy may not currently exist.

Requirements (ESA s. 8.3)

  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IP or an IP-related field.
  • Exceptional advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Note: In compliance with s. 8.3 of the ESA, we do not require "Canadian experience" for this role. We welcome applications from all qualified legal professionals authorized to practice in Ontario.

Compensation (ESA s. 8.2 & O. Reg. 476/24)

  • Salary Range: $90,000 – $300,000+ per annum.
  • Details: Final compensation is highly variable and determined based on seniority, specialized expertise, and individual performance.

Compliance Note: Because the upper end of our compensation structure exceeds $200,000, this posting is exempt from the $50,000 range-spread limitation under O. Reg. 476/24, s. 3.
